MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Runners will hit the pavement on Saturday to raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The St. Jude Memphis Marathon is the largest one-day fundraiser the hospital does all year long. This year, there is a 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, and a kids marathon that will lure runners and spectators downtown, as well as close roads throughout Downtown and Midtown Memphis.

Below are a couple of things you should know if you are running this weekend. For those of you hoping to avoid the road closures and crowds, there are also a few course maps to help with your weekend planning.

Race packet pick-up

There is no packet pick-up available on race day.

You can pick up your packet at Memphis Cook Convention Center on Thursday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

If you are 16 years old or older, you must pick up your own race packet. You will need your photo I.D. and your bib number.

Forgot your bib number? Look it up by clicking here.

Extra race info

There will be 24 hydration stations on the full marathon course. The first is located 1.5 miles into the race. Once you hit mile three, you will find a hydration station at every mile.

In order to access the food and beverage area at AutoZone Park after the race, you must still be wearing your bib.

The marathon course time limit is six hours. If you're doing the half marathon, you are expected to maintain a 20 minute per mile pace. If you are running the full marathon, if you arrive at the marathon/half marathon split after 11:50 a.m., you will be diverted to the half marathon course.

Crews will begin taking apart the finish-line structure at 2:30 p.m. If you finish after that, you will not receive an official finish time, but will still receive your finisher medal as long as there are still some available.
