MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Two people were charged in the murder of a Christian Brothers High School graduate in the Country Squire Apartments.
According to Memphis Police Department, 18-year-old Aaron Marr and 19-year-old Jeylon Harvey were identified as the suspects in the death of 18-year-old Eddie McDonald.
Police said McDonald was at a party in the apartment complex on Glen Park Drive when three people showed up and weren't allowed inside. A fight then started as those people left and shots rang out.
McDonald's parents said they heard their son acted heroically and pushed others out of the way of bullets. His parents said he wanted to become a police officer.
Marr and Harvey are both charged with first-degree murder and five counts of attempted first-degree murder.
