(WMC) - The cost of prescription medication has been on the rise according to multiple news outlets across the country.
It was even a big part of the presidential campaign trail as well.
A few years ago an app called Blink popped up for smart phones. Blink is free and available to people who own iPhone and Android devices.
According to the Blink CEO, it works by going between generic drug makers and pharmacies to negotiate the price. This allows generic drugs that can cost a few hundred dollars to be sold for only a few bucks.
Blink allows customers to save up to 90 percent on medicine.
