Happy Friday!!

This is breaking in Europe right now--Police in Paris, France, say a soldier opened fire outside the Louvre Museum after he was attacked by someone, and the area is being evacuated. I have a live shot and I am monitoring the situation to see if there are any terrorist ties. We'll have live updates in the Alert Center.

A billboard is making a statement across Memphis. It compares the number of homicides in 2016 to the number of Memphis police officers the city is down. We'll explain how the city is responding to this and why the police union put it up in the first place.

Possible human remains were found on the side of the road on Highway 64 in Fayette County.  Investigators say they had been there for some time. We have the latest details on this mystery this morning.

Last month, Gentry Wright was hit by multiple cars and died at Lamar and Bellevue. Later today, his family will announce a reward to help solve his death. We'll review the case and look ahead to clues in the investigation.

The legendary Garth Brooks kicked off the first of four concerts in the Bluff City at FedEx Forum. He has three more shows left in Memphis. We'll hear from him as he sat down with WMC Action News 5 and spoke about his love for Memphis.

He just couldn't relate to the type of sickness that it was.
