Although this afternoon is nice and sunny, a weather system will bring strong thunderstorms into the Mid-South tonight. The rain will start around 9 p.m. in northwest Tennessee and continue through 1 or 2 a.m. in north Mississippi. The main threats will be heavy rain, gusty winds and hail.
