NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Gaylord Opryland Resort transformed into a winter wonderland Friday night.

The resort turned on three million holiday lights for this year's "A Country Christmas," which is more than ever before.

An 11-year-old named Logan, who represented the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network, flipped the switch.

The lighting ceremony, which started around 6 p.m., also included a tribute to the military and several performances, including an appearance by Charlie Brown and friends.

The event was free and open to the public.
