Accused TDOT killer pleads not guilty

David Jordan pleaded not guilty Monday morning to three counts of first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Jordan killed his ex-wife and two others at a TDOT maintenance garage last January in Jackson, Tennessee. Two others were injured in the attack.

After the shooting, those who worked at the TDOT facility said Jordan had shown up before to threaten his estranged wife.

Police arrested Jordan a within minutes of the shooting. They say he was carrying an assault rifle, a shotgun and two handguns.

Jordan will be back in court on November 7th for a status hearing. A trial date has been set for May 16th.
