Former Vol/Melrose Star Pleads Guilty, Gets No Jail Time

Former Tennessee Vols Lineman Mondre Dickerson, who had been indicted on a rape charge, pleaded guilty in Knoxville today to misdemeanor assault and will not go to jail.

Instead, the former Melrose High star gets 11-months and 29-days of unsupervised probation.

Dickerson was kicked off the Vols team in 2003 after a separate rape allegation was later dropped.
