Federal officials won't say if Jonesboro School shooter was released

Mitchell Johnson ,one of the two Jonesboro school shooters, is to go free today.

But federal authorities are not saying whether Johnson has been released.

Johnson was one of two boys who opened fire on his classmates at Westside Middle School in Jonesboro back in March of 1998.

Four students and a teacher were killed.

Johnson's mother says her son does not intend to return to Arkansas.
Instead, she says he wants to get a college education and become a minister.

Action News 5's Syan Rhodes will have more on Mitchell Johnson's release and the impact it's having on the community where the shootings took place -- tonight at 5:00.
