If you plan on driving down Bill Morris Parkway, you better keep an eye on your speed. Shelby County Sheriff's deputies have issued more than *500* speeding tickets on the parkway this week alone. Deputies started writing tickets after residents complained that things were getting too dangerous. "We've had some fatalities out on that stretch of road", said Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell. "It is a long, straight stretch where you can build up speed easily and speed kills." Sheriff Luttrell says deputies will continue issuing tickets along Bill Morris Parkway until they see traffic slow down.
