Governor Bredesen signed extradition warrants

Tennessee officials have moved to return an inmate and his wife from Ohio to face murder charges in last week's bloody escape at the Roane County Courthouse.

Governor Bredesen and Secretary of State Riley Darnell signed

warrants yesterday to extradite inmate George Hyatte and Jennifer
, a former prison nurse who allegedly aided his escape.

The Hyattes, accused of killing corrections officer Wayne (Cotton) Morgan during the escape, were arrested a day later in a motel in Columbus, Ohio.

An extradition hearing in Ohio could be held as soon as today.
