Bridges Kickoff Classic Results

100 degree temperatures made a towel on the head a common look. Game one featured Bolton against MUS. Bolton had the ball, but not for long...Rob Peeler picks off this pass and that leads to some points. Jeffrey Wright up the middle from 5 yards out. This one was all MUS, winning 46-nothing.

Next up, White Station and Christian Brothers. A botched play just before half gave the Spartans a 7-0 lead. It stayed hat way until the 4th quarter when John Michael Skinner tosses to Henry Harris on the option to tie the game at 7. And with just 2 seconds left Austin Cardosi with the chip shot to win it. He's a hero, the Brothers escape with a 10-7 win.

The final game is the debut of two new coaches...Chester Flowers at Melrose and Joe Hamstra at Briarcrest. The Golden Wildcats looking to follow up last year's 14-1 runner finish in a 4A. Courtney Madison on the quarterback keeper puts them up 7 at the half. The defense anchored by tackle Michael Carter didn't budge. Melorse wins it 14-0.
