MLK Dream Memorial Project

The Martin Luther King National Memorial Project Foundation launched a "Kids for King" program Monday to commemorate the 1963 march on Washington and to help build a memorial honoring Dr. King.

Participants will be asked to write an essay about their dream for a better America. Twelve children will be selected and flown to DC for the memorial's groundbreaking ceremony next year. The program is open to children from first through twelfth grades. For details click on the link: or call 1-888-4-THE-DREAM.
