El Mero Taco Releases App for Easy Ordering On the Go

Branded Restaurant App Developed by Cobblestone Media

Memphis, United States – March 7, 2018 /CMG/

El Mero Taco is known throughout the Memphis & Mid-South area for its rich, bold flavors and incredible blend of Southern and Mexican cuisines. Founded by two Le Cordon Bleu graduates, the El Mero Taco food truck won the People’s Choice Award in the 2016 and 2017 Midsouth Food Truck Festival. Fans are always looking for ways to keep up with the food truck phenomenon and grab their favorite dishes more often.

In light of that, Cobblestone Media Group recently developed and released a branded app for El Mero Taco. The app allows for mobile ordering so Memphians can pick up lunchtime tacos on the go with orders linking directly into El Mero’s point of sale system. The app features geo-targeting to inform customers that the El Mero Taco food truck is in their vicinity and schedules push notifications in advance to encourage people to order.

The app allows works to reduce one of the more challenging aspects of running a food truck: dealing with inclement weather. Through push notifications, the team is able to quickly notify customers of a delay or cancellation, no longer having to rely on social media or word of mouth. One of the most popular features is the multi-tiered loyalty program, which offers free tacos and beverages.

“Apps like the El Mero Taco app help businesses build their brands while cultivating their customer base. They offer an accessible, cost-effective way to enter the app space and provide customers with the on-the-go, immediate interaction they expect from businesses today,” says Eric Mellen, Partner at Cobblestone Media Group.

The El Mero Taco app is free to download in the App Store and Google Play.
