Help Operation KARE: Donate school supplies for evacuee kids in Memphis!

Because of the hurricane, there are hundreds, probably thousands of families stranded in the Mid-South.  Many will be enrolling their kids in school.  Buying needed school supplies will be difficult.  WMC-TV asks you to help by purchasing the school supplies on this list and dropping them off as a part of Operation KARE (Katrina Assistance and Relief Effort).

There are three dropoff locations:

Memphis City Schools Administrative Offices
2597 Avery (corner of Avery & Hollywood in Midtown; see map link)
Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wolfchase Galleria
Guest Services Desk - 1st Floor near J.C. Penney's
Germantown Pkwy & I-40 (see map link)
Daily 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Oak Court Mall
Guest Services Desk - Near Food Court
