MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The City of Memphis is preparing for a new session of Manhood University.
The six-week program teaches men how to lead productive lives.
Manhood University brings the city and faith community together to teach men about setting goals, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and landing a job.
Mainly, it offers men another chance to find success.
"We know there is a need," said Ken Moody, special assistant to Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland. "We know there are men out there that need a second chance and an opportunity to correct some of the mistakes they made in the past."
Manhood University will resume for another session on Saturday, August 11.
It's free and open to all ages, and registration is still open. Click here for more information.
