MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Elvis' only child is in Memphis for Elvis Week 2018. She's promoting a new exhibit called Growing Up Presley.
Nearly a decade ago, Lisa Marie Presley had her first exhibit at Graceland.
"I have to say it [was] probably our most popular exhibit we've ever done," VP of Archive and Exhibits at Graceland Angie Marchese said.
Curators knew because of the success of the previous Lisa Marie exhibit, one day another exhibit would make its way back to Graceland.
Friday was that day.
Lisa Marie and her daughter, Riley Keogh, thanked the crowd during the ribbon cutting for Lisa Marie: Growing Up Presley.
Lisa Marie is said to have been excited about a lot of things in this exhibit. One of those things is a golf cart which she rode all around Graceland.
"That was kind of her key to freedom around Graceland," Marchese said.
But it was a quote from her late father that nearly brought her to tears: "Becoming a father is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me."
"She had never heard that quote before, and it really sets the tone for the entire exhibition," Marchese said.
The exhibit also showcases Lisa Marie's first record player, roller skates, as well as outfits she wore in her music videos.
Janice Peel has been to 24 Elvis weeks and seeing Lisa Marie this year has her all shook up.
"I just think she's very talented and has a lot to offer," Peel said.
Lisa Marie: Growing up Presley will be on display for at least the next year.
