Ole Miss Coach Ed Orgeron made official Monday what most everone has known for the past week..

Rebels Offensive Coordinator Noel Mazzone is Fired.

The Rebels offense ranked 111th of 117 Division 1-A- schools and scored an S.E.C. Worst 13.5 points per game.

We told you 2-weeks ago it was going to happen..

Now, it's official.

David Cutcliffe is Back as Offensive Coordinator for the Tennessee Vols.

The former 17-year Vols assistant was named Offensive Coordinator late this afternoon.

He replaces Randy Sanders, who replaced HIM as O.C. when Cutcliffe left U-T to become head coach at Ole Miss in 19-98.

The Vols won the National Championship that season.

U-T struggled this year, going 5-and-6..it's first losing season in 16-years.

Orgeron says he won't promote anyone from the current staff to fill the position, and has no timetable when it will be done.

He says he will be flexible on what type of offense next years' team will run.
