Playing on the road at Cincinnati has always been tough on Memphis. Even with Bob Huggins gone, the BearCats were not about to roll over for the 9th ranked Tigers. Things got off to a good start and thanks to a red-hot Antonio Anderson, the Tigers survived 91-81. Anderson hasn't scored much this season but that sure changed, Anderson tosses in a season high 32 points on 11 of 15 from the field. The Tigers up 9 at the half.
But the Bearcats came storming back with a 17-2 run and take the lead 60-59 on this bucket by Jihad Mohammed. When Kareem Cooper fouls out with about 8 minutes left John Calipari can't believe it and he gets the technical. But the Tigers hold strong, Shawne Williams had 19 and Memphis wins it it 91-81. They improve to 6-1 on the season. They have the week off now before meeting Providence Saturday.
