Hernando police search for missing minor

Bonnie Ivy remembers the last three days through a series of phone calls.

The first from her daughter Ashley Saturday afternoon.

"She said she was going to pick up christmas lights at Freds," said Ivy.

Ashley never came home, and by Sunday Bonnie filled out a missing person's report.

That night she got a mysterious phone call from two women claiming they had Ashley.

"And they told me what she was wearing and said rude ugly things and that they cut her throat," Ivy went on to say.

Bonnie says the women called again this time asking for money.

"They were telling her brother, bring us a grand of money up here at Fred's cause we got her from the Fred's parking lot," she said.

"We did stake out that location, no one ever showed up," said Sgt. Perry of the Hernando Police Department.

Still every call offers a bit of hope, during our interview a call offered a lead to Ashley in Alabama, but the police said the "don't believe its creditable."

So the waiting and worying continues.  "I want her home, I just want her home," said her mother.
