Nominations to several prestigious All-Star teams...

Even a nice run at the Heisman Trophy..

Now, DeAngelo Williams is in a class with few peers in college football.

The Associated Press today names Williams to its' Second Team All-America Squad...

Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush, and Washington States' Jerome Harrison make the first team.

Williams, a former Wynne, Arkansas High School Yellowjacket, rushed for more than 17-hundred yards and scored 15-touchdowns this season.

He is the NCAA's Career All-Purpose Yardage leader with more than 73-Hundred yards..and is the 4th All-Time leading Rusher with 5,788 on the ground.

Ole Miss Steller Linebacker Patrick Willis makes Second Team All-America on Defense..

Tennessee's Jesse Mahelona and Mississippi State's Willie Evans are Third team, as is Tight End Garrett Mills of Liberty Bowl bound Tulsa.
