The 5th ranked Memphis Tigers are eager to get back on the hardwood Saturday against Ole Miss, but it may be without a couple players. The Tigers are pretty banged up right now. They had an early afternoon practice at the Finch Center with some questions marks to answer.
John Calipari is hoping to have Antonio Anderson ready to play, after he sprained an ankle in practice Wednesday.
"I don't know right now. I think he'll be okay. But we have others...Darius Washington is still hurting and Kareem Cooper hasn't practiced all week. But my thing is, who ever is ready to go, let's go get it."
Calipari says big man Kareem Cooper most likely will not play tomorrow. The 6'11" 285 pounder is suffering from back spasms. The Tigers tipoff with the Rebels at 2:30pm at the Tad Pad in Oxford.
