MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Tony Parker had the hot hand while the San
Antonio Spurs were topping the Grizzlies 93-to-83 at Memphis.
Parker scored a game-high 28 points on 12-of-13 shooting to help
the Spurs beat the Grizzlies for the second time in three days.
Parker, Manu Ginobili (MAN'-oo zhih-NOH'-bih-lee) and Michael
Finley combined to shoot 9-for-10 in the first quarter.
San Antonio shot nearly 51 percent from the field, including 75
percent in the opening period.
Ginobili finished with 15 points while Tim Duncan added 13 and
The Grizzlies ended a six-game home winning streak despite Pau
Gasol's (paw gah-SAHLZ') 25 points. Gasol was the lone Grizzly with
more than eleven points.
