SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - A Northwest Airlines plane carrying 24 people to Memphis made an emergency landing at Springfield-Branson Regional Airport in Missouri Tuesday morning.
Authorities say the pilot of the Canadair jet reported at about seven a-m that he suspected hydraulic problems soon after taking off from Springfield. He turned the aircraft around and landed the plane safely, with no injuries.
Passengers were being rebooked on other flights to Memphis.
