Two men wanted for attack in Memphis picked up in Alabama

Alabama police captured two suspects Thursday wanted for an attack in Memphis.

Police say the two men, Jason Cobb and Steven Cooper, stabbed a man in the neck in Memphis, and then ran off to Huntsville Alabama.

According to police and witness accounts, the victim Ernest Glenn, offered to give two acquaintances a ride to the Mapco gas station at St. Elmo and Raleigh-Millington. Police say the trio never got to the gas station. During an argument, Glenn was stabbed in the neck and hand, and Cobb and Cooper took off with his car.

Glenn was treated at a local hospital and released.

The two suspects, Cobb and Cooper, face one count each of aggravated robbery, but Memphis Police say the duo could be connected to several other robberies in Memphis.
