The 11th ranked Tennessee Volunteers hadn't won at Kentucky in 7-years, but they make new history tonight with a 75-67 victory. UT Coach Bruce Pearl has something up his Orange sleeve for Tubby Smith's Wildcats...it's called Chris Lofton.
The Kentucky native splashed not one, not two, but four 3-pointers in the first half, seven for the game. Lofton finished with 31 points. Kentucky challenged late but UT gots another big assist from Memphian Dane Bradshaw for the clincher. The Vols avoid the upset, beating Kentucky, 75-67.
Next up: The Vols play Georgia Saturday.
