Tigers Whip Southern Miss, Again

The last home game the University of Memphis Tigers played was January 28th.

That game ended in a blowout of UCF..

Tigers fans hope its' the same story against Southern Mississippi Tuesday Night downtown.

3rd ranked Memphis already owns a lopsided victory over the Golden Eagles in Hattiesburgh this season.

Tigers Coach John Calipari says his big rookie went beyond the call of duty.

<"The greatest thing is he went so hard in the first half that he was in here with his head over a bucket and I loved it. I looked at our guys and said now how about the rest of us oplay like that. We'll have buckets for evrybody.">

The Tigers tie the school mark for best record at this point in the season, 23-and-2, next hit the road again to play Tulane in New Orleans Saturday.
