Police search for suspects in rash of home invasions

There were three separate home invasion robberies that happened overnight. They started around 10:30 last night.

In the first robbery, police say two suspects forced their way into a home in the 100-block of Garland. The three victims inside the home told police one of the suspects carried what looked like a sawed-off shotgun.

The second home invasion happened hours later, just after 2:30 Friday morning in the 5600-block of Apple Blossom. Again, the victims said one suspect was armed with a sawed-off shotgun.

The third crime happened around 4:45 in the 1600- block of Lehr. Same weapon, same M.O.

In all three cases, the suspects took cash and other items from the homes.
