Motel featured in "Walk The Line" film burns

FORREST CITY, Ark. (AP) - A motel featured in the 2004 filming of the movie "Walk the Line" was badly damaged in a fire over the weekend.

The fire at the Regency Inn in Forrest City started about 1:30 A-M Saturday morning and firefighters from Forrest City and other areas fought it until about noon.

Forrest City fire Chief Dan Curtner said the age of the building may have helped the fire spread.

The motel was used in the film about the life of country music singer Johnny Cash.
