Meth lab found in car, driver charged

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - State and Carroll County authorities have charged a woman with a variety of offenses after they finally got her car stopped and found a methamphetamine lab inside it.

Authorities say they chased Charlotte Dailey led them on a 20-mile chase through Carroll and Gibson counties, at one point trying to crash head-on into a police car. A deputy says Dailey was stopped after she rammed a police car from behind.

The sheriff's report says deputies found a meth lab, numerous narcotics and three weapons in Dailey's vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office charged Dailey with a number of drug offenses and assault on a police officer.

The Highway Patrol - which was also involved in the chase - cited her for numerous traffic offenses.
