Dyer, Gibson counties get federal tax relief

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Governor Bredesen says the Internal Revenue Service has granted federal tax relief for residents of Dyer and Gibson counties because of deadly tornadoes that hit the area.

This means they get a 60-day extension of time for filing returns and paying taxes.

Additional counties may be added later.

The tornadoes swept through the counties April 2nd.
