Grizzlies win in double OT; look forward to Dallas

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Memphis Grizzlies closed out the regular season Wednesday night with a 102-to-92 victory in double overtime over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Brian Cardinal scored nine of his 18 points in the second overtime and Lawrence Roberts added 10 points and 12 boards to lead the Grizzlies.

Memphis played without leading scorer and rebounder Pau Gasol and Eddie Jones.

The Grizzlies will face fourth-seeded Dallas in the first round of the playoffs.

The Timberwolves finished the season at 33-49 and missed the playoffs for the second straight year.
