MS State baseball coach suspended

Mississippi State baseball coach Ron Polk has been suspended by the SEC for publicly criticizing umpires during Wednesday's game at Southern Miss.

Polk was ejected in the seventh inning of the 13-6 loss after he argued a call.

After the game, Polk called one umpire incompetent.

The Bulldog coach also said he walked past a Southern Miss official and was confronted by campus security at Pete Taylor Park.

Polk is expected back for Friday night's game at South Carolina.
