Arkansas' Ronnie Brewer makes himself available to the NBA

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas junior guard-forward Ronnie
Brewer has made himself available for the 2006 N-B-A draft, but has
not hired an agent.

Brewer said at a news conference at Bud Walton Arena that he
wants to test the market to see where he could go.

Brewer led the Southeastern Conference in scoring last year
averaging 18-point-four points per game and could be a potential
first-round pick.

By not hiring an agent, Brewer can be assessed by N-B-A teams
and still return to college ball.

Brewer's father, Ron Brewer, helped Arkansas to the 1978 Final
Four and was drafted seventh by Portland in the first round of the
1978 N-B-A draft.
