Miller Named NBA 6th Man of the Year

Deep in the hole against the Dallas Mavericks, the Grizzlies got a boost Friday. Mike Miller is named the NBA's 6th man of the year. He earned the award for being the best player in the league who comes off the bench. M and M was the over whelming favorite, averaging 14 points and 5 rebounds per game. Those numbers have slipped in games one and two of the playoffs though. He's had 9 points in each game. Miller and the entire team hope to get off the schnide Saturday in game 3.

"One thing we have to do is find a way to score more in the playoffs and find out how to stop them. One thing is I'm going to go out there and do my job. If that's score a lot or rebound a lot, we'll see. I just hope we win."

Wear your white clothes tomorrow for game 3. Tip time is scheduled for 4:30pm at FedExForum.
