Former Vol Gatlin Breaks 100m World Record

Former Tennessee Sprinter Justin Gatlin is blowing the doors off the competition...and his speed is legal.

Gatlin breaks the World Record in the Men's 100 meter dash with a time of 9.76 seconds.

It comes overseas at the Cutter Super Grand Prix Meet in Doha.

Gatlin breaks the mark set last year by Jamaica's Asafa Powell by just 1-1 hundreth of a second.

Gatlin, at 24-years old, is coming into his sprinting peak... He also clocked a 9.85 in the semi-final.
