Last season, the former Mississippi State Bulldog had a career season that saw him set several single season franchise records and, as a result, was named to National Conference All-af2 second team. He had a career high matching and franchise-high matching 103 receptions. He also set career and franchise highs with 1627 receiving yards, 40 touchdown receptions and 264 points. His 40 touchdown receptions were fourth in the league, his 1627 receiving yards were fifth and his 264 points were fourth.
Also in 2004, he led the league with a 26.3 average on 54 kickoff returns. He took four of those returns back for scores to up his career total to an af2 record 13 kickoff return touchdowns.
