Arbitrator Rules on McNair/Titans Grievance

In NFL News, the Arbitrator has ruled..

The Tennessee Titans must allow Steve McNair to workout at their facilities as long as he has a contract with the team.

After hearing more than 7-hours of testimony, and taking more than 2-weeks to decide, arbitrator John Feerick rules the Titans Breached McNairs' contract by barring him from working out at the Teams' headquarters.

The Titans originally told the All-Pro Quarterback to stay away, because the team didn't want to be liable for the more than $23-million dollar salary cap hit were McNair to get hurt on their property.

The Titans owe McNair $9-million dollars next season.
