Lottery president recovering from fall off balcony

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Paul was in the hospital Friday for injuries she suffered when she fell over a balcony at her home.

Paul told The Associated Press she was taken to St. Thomas Hospital on Thursday night after she fell trying to prune some bushes.

"I broke a couple of ribs, but the people here are taking good care of me," said Paul, who was not sure when she would be released. Paul was hired in 2003 to start Tennessee's state lottery.

She has also started state lotteries Georgia and Florida.
