Bullies, Hogs Both Stay Alive

Clemson Regional: The Mississippi State Bulldogs stayed alive in NCAA tournament play with a win over UNC Asheville in the losers bracket. Brian LaNinfa had a big day for the Bullies, doubling home 2 runs in the 1st and hitting an absolute bomb in the 5th, a 3-run shot to give State a 5-0.  LaNinfa had all 5 RBI's and Justin Pigott nailed it down in the 9th for the save. The Bullies send UNC Asheville home with a 5-4 win. They'll face Clemson tomorrow.

Fayetteville Regional: The Arkansas Razorbacks also stay alive in the losers bracket. They beat Princeton 6-2 in the Fayetteville regional. James Ewing broke up a no-hitter in the 8th, with a 3-run double. They wind up putting 5 on the board in the 8th to get the win 6-2.
