After a strong showing in the SEC tournament, the Ole Miss Rebels continued their hot play in the NCAA Regionals. For the second straight year, they advance to the Super Regionals with a 12-4 win over Tulane.
Tulane would have to win twice to advance, the Rebel's just once and they did just that. Ole Miss got on the board in the second when Justin Brashear singled home Logan Power who was 5-5 in the game. In the 3rd Mark Wright doubled in 2 runs, and it was 5-2 Ole Miss after 3. In the 5th, Wright hit a 2-run home run and that was it.
The Rebels advance to play the University of Miami in the Super Regionals. The site is yet to be determined.
