As the days tick down before the NBA Draft, the Grizzlies are getting close on a deciding what player to pick.
One of those players who could be high on their list, is former West Virginia Guard Mike Gansey....
So what if he's got a bum ankle..
Gansey tweaked his wheel toward the end of todays' workout at FedExForum...
The team tried to bring him in early last month, but he had an upset stomach and couldn't make it..
But, he'd made enough of an impression on the Grizzlies through his play as a Mountaineer to warrant giving him every chance to show his stuff.
The 6'4" guard averaged almost 17-points, 6-rebounds and 2-assists a game for a West Virginia Squad that consistently made deep runs in the NCAA Tournament.
He was an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America as a Senior.
Gansey spent some time speaking with former Lausanne star Johnnie West, who signed with West Virginia this spring.
West is the son of Grizzlies team President Jerry West, a former West Virginia All-American.
Two Foreign players, Big men Paulius Jankunas, and Wojciech Barycz, also worked out for the Grizzlies
