The Memphis Xplorers are in the home stretch of the Arena Football season. Just 4 games left after Saturday night's win over West Georgia. The defending champs came in a half game out of first in the American South division after a last second loss last week. The X-men put 21 points on the board in the first quarter against W.Georgia, Brian Jones hit who else but Kevin Prentiss for a touchdown, and the former Mississippi State Bulldog gave Memphis a 21-19 lead.
Jones wound up throwing for 8 touchdown passes in a high scoring affair and Memphis got the win 81-53. They're now 9-3, with 3 of their last 4 games on the road starting next week Macon.
