Redbirds Win Heading Into All-Star Break

The Memphis Redbirds regrouped after Saturday night's 11-2 disaster with 8-1 win over Albuquerque Sunday afternoon at AutoZone Park.  John Webb has someone to commiserate with after losing his perfect game Saturday night, because today it was Albuquerque that had a meltdown on the mound. J.B. Miadich walked in 4 straight runs in the 6th inning to give Memphis the lead 5-1. All this without a Redbird hit! But for good measure, Brian Martin drove in two more with a double to left.

The Redbirds now have a 3 day break for the Triple-A all-star game. They will resume play Thursday in Nashville.
