Gall Waived, Redbirds Drought Continues

After 4 years in Memphis, the Cardinals waived outfielder John Gall. Gall a once promising prospect, saw his power numbers diminish this year. He quickly signed a deal to plan in Korea.

The Redbirds returned home to host Round Rock after getting swept in Nashville. John Webb pitched a gem, allowing no runs and just 3 hits in 7 innings of work. But a solid pitching effort is wasted in relief. The Redbirds came in with the lowest team batting average in the entire PCL at .237.  and they did nothing to improve it tonight.   They're shut out for the 3rd time in the last 5 days, the final 2-0.
