JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - The son of Madison County's sheriff has been ordered to complete the stipulations of his probation and attend a long-term drug treatment program after violations that include testing positive for marijuana.
Twenty-four-year-old David Lee Woolfork Junior was held in the Henderson County Jail.
His father, Sheriff David Lee Woolfork Senior, declined to discuss his son's case. But an affidavit showed the son violated five conditions of his probation.
Besides testing positive for marijuana on Jan. 27th and May second, they include failing to complete community service work, and failure to enroll in and complete an anger management course.
Woolfork was on probation after pleading guilty in unrelated cases involving breaking into the his girlfriend's former apartment and assaulting his wife.
