Additional indictment in voter fraud investigation

A Tennessee grand jury has indicted a Mississippi man in connection with a voter fraud investigation that began in the wake of the Ophelia Ford scandal.

Prosecutors say 60 year-old Willie McCain of Nesbit voted in both Tennessee and Mississippi on November 2nd of last year.

He is charged with two counts of illegal registration or voting and one count of false entries on official registration or election documents.  The standard sentences for each are one to six years in prison.

McCain was arrested today and transported to Shelby County this afternoon.  He is being held on a $3,000 bond.

Prosecutors say the investigation is ongoing.
