Community vents frustration over crime against six-year-old

The drum of sledgehammers rang out in Abbeville, Mississippi. All to benefit a little girl who was abducted, abused, shot and left lying in the woods before searchers found her 20 hours later. Abbeville Bank put a Ford Tempo on display, charging five dollars a hit to raise money for the recovering 6-year-old. Some let out their frustrations on the car, others just wanted to give to the cause. But no matter how it was done, the goal was to hammer home the message that the community will be there to help as long as there is a need.
