Razorbacks Name Starting Quarterback

Arkansas Quarterback Robert Johnson has been in this position before...the only difference is this time he's hoping to stay there.

Coach Houston Nutt has named Johnson the Hogs starting QB - the same role he earned before the start of last season.

Johnson ended up being benched midway through 2005 in favor of freshman Casey Dick.

But, this year, Dick's been bothered by a back injury that's caused him to miss valuable practice time. Nutt's announcement ends a three-way competition between Johnson, Dick, and heralded freshman Mitch Mustain.

The Razorbacks finished last season 4-7, their second straight losing season.

The Hogs open this year against USC in Fayetteville, Sept. 2nd.
