JonBenet Ramsey murder suspect waives extradition, agrees to be sent to Colorado

LOS ANGELES (AP) - John Mark Karr, the suspect in the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, waived extradition Tuesday and agreed to be sent to Colorado.

Karr affirmed his decision in an appearance before Superior Court Commissioner James N. Bianco after the Los Angeles County district attorney's office charged him with being a fugitive from justice.

The complaint noted Karr was charged with murder in a warrant issued Aug. 15 in Boulder County, Colo.

On Sunday, Karr voluntarily accompanied a Boulder County district attorney's investigator on a flight from Thailand to Los Angeles, where he was jailed.
